Always working to the clients agenda and pace, my Integrative client-centric style is both collaborative and supportive, providing a confidential and non-judgmental space for a reflective exploration of the self. I believe that by deepening ones awareness of self, clients can gain the confidence to uncover, challenge and then overcome past pain and conflict that may be negatively impacting them in the here and now.
About me and my practice
A vital aim of the therapy that I offer is to provide clients with a safe and accepting environment, a space where they can feel comfortable enough to begin to explore and uncover a deeper understanding of themselves.
Through my work as a counsellor, I have met clients with a broad range of issues that have been affecting their lives. These have included anxiety, depression, OCD, negative intrusive thoughts, social anxiety, bereavement and loss, work stresses, relationship problems, identity issues and low self-esteem.
As the history, experiences and situation of each client are unique, I endeavour to provide a service that is uniquely tailored to the individual needs of each client.
Experience
Before beginning my career in counselling, I spent twenty years working within the financial services industry. Over this period I gained first-hand experience of how the workplace can both positively and negatively impact self-image, self-confidence and general well-being. I can relate to how the internal and external pressures of professional and personal life can directly impact on ones mental health and self-worth.

Initial Consultation
Once contact has been received, the next step would be for us to find a mutually suitable time to have an initial video consultation call. This initial 30-minute free consultation video call allows us both to start to get a sense of each other, giving space for you to express what is going on for you right now and what you need, and for me to introduce myself, the service that I offer and to answer any questions you may have. There is no obligation to continue working together following the call. If, from this conversation, you feel comfortable continuing forward with me as your counsellor, it would be at this point we would discuss scheduling a weekly appointment.
Fees
Fees are from £55 per session for individual video therapy. Clients are asked to pay by Bank Transfer before each session begins.
